๐ฌ Why is this film worth seeing โ even if youโre not from Hong Kong or part of the Deaf community?
The Way We Talk is the first-ever Hong Kong feature film to centre Deaf characters and the rich, often-overlooked world of Hong Kong Sign Language.
Directed by Adam Wong (She Remembers, He Forgets), the film is a tender, visually poetic journey about identity, belonging, and the power of communication beyond sound.
Whether you're Deaf, hearing, or somewhere in between โ this is a story that transcends language. It speaks to anyone who's ever struggled to find their voice in a noisy world.
๐ฌ Nominated for 7 Hong Kong Film Awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Actress
๐ Golden Horse Best Actress Winner โ Chung Suet Ying
๐๏ธ Seats are limited โ book now and experience this moving, thought-provoking film on the big screen.
Help us show that thereโs a place in Australian cinemas for stories that matter.
